MISSION STATEMENT

The Jerramiah T. Healy Charitable Foundation for A Better Jersey City is an independent, non-profit organization committed to providing aid and assistance for the better- ment of Jersey City families, individuals, or organizations of limited financial means.

Our mission is to foster community outreach and encourage the advancement of the Jersey City community through board approved funding for victims of fire, crime, catas-trophic incidence, or accidents which cause physical injury or harm; for impove-rished children, homeless shelters, or the payment of funeral services; and to assist recognized charities that may effect the well being of Jersey City residents such as research for AIDS and other health related illnesses, or the treatment of drug abuse and/or rehabilitation.
